To secure King Khalid University Hospital with over 800 beds and 20 operating theatres, and ensure the constant safety of its staff, patients and visitors, CEM AC2000 access control and security management system was installed.
CEM AC2000 access control and security management system provides King Khalid University Hospital with a range of access control features and functionally, and utilizes CEM’s advanced range of hardware to control access to 150+ key doors throughout the facility.
CEM AC2000 software offers an unparalleled range of security applications that enhance security and customer operations including AC2000 AED (Alarm Event Display) and AC2000 VIPPS (Visual Imaging and Pass Production System) which provides permanent and temporary ID Badges for medical staff, intern students and residents who access the building regularly.
King Khalid University Hospital has also integrated the AC2000 system with the fire alarm system to control all the hospital emergency exits. This integration increases the hospitals efficiency as it will release the doors automatically for evacuation.
