BELFAST, UK. August 23, 2018 – Johnson Controls has announced the winners of the CEM Systems Business Partner of the Year Awards, EMEA, 2018. Winners were honored at CEM Systems’ annual security conference, held 23—24 May at the Galgorm Resort & Spa, Northern Ireland. Net-Ctrl received the Business Partner of the Year Award for the UK and Ireland South region, FES Group for UK North, Unibelus for Europe, Tyco Fire & Security for Middle East and Integrated Fire & Safety Solutions Ltd (IFSS) for Africa. The highly prestigious ‘Project of the Year’ award was awarded to Muscat International Airport, Oman, who recently embarked upon a landmark $1.8 billion new airport.

The 2018 Business Partner of the Year Awards are not only given to our top EMEA business partners for high levels of sales, but are given in recognition for their ongoing commitment to accredited CEM Systems training, joint marketing initiatives and their tireless endeavour to go above and beyond when delivering successful customer projects within their respective regions.”
For the UK & Ireland, South region, Net-Ctrl received the Business Partner of the Year award in recognition of their success within the education sector. As a relatively new channel partner, Net-Ctrl has promoted CEM Systems products at various education events this year and has successfully won a number of prominent UK school security projects including Bradfield School, Sheffield.
For the UK & Ireland, North region, FES Group also received an award for their continued success within many large and fully integrated security projects throughout Scotland. Using CEM Systems AC2000 security management solutions, FES recently secured the new £228 million twin-site City of Glasgow College and the headquarters for Aegon, the UK’s leading pension and insurance provider.
The award for Europe was won by long standing CEM Systems partner Unibelus. Their success was attributed to the promotion of CEM Systems solutions to consultants, their invaluable assistance with regional product localisation and the installation of CEM Systems products within Belarus and Eastern Europe.
For Africa, Integrated Fire & Safety Solutions Ltd (IFSS) was awarded in recognition for their project work with Safaricom Telecoms, Kenya. The award marks their continued commitment to growing CEM Systems business in Kenya but also celebrates their work in opening up CEM Systems solutions to Egypt.
Tyco Fire & Security U.A.E was awarded 2018 business partner for Middle East. Over the past few years, Tyco U.A.E has successfully worked on some of the largest, complex and most prestigious security projects within this region. These include the iconic Louvre museum, Abu Dhabi, and Muscat International Airport, Oman.
Muscat International Airport won the overall CEM Systems Project of the Year Award for 2018. “As the largest infrastructure project in Oman, the Oman Airport’s Management Company (OAMC) required a large scale, fully integrated security solution to secure Muscat Airports new $1.8 billion Terminal 1 and its vast number of outlaying annex buildings.” Continued Philip Verner, regional sales director, Building Technologies & Solutions, Johnson Controls. “We were also awarded the contracts to secure the new Salalah International Airport and Duqm Airport in Oman and it was imperative that all three airport’s share a commonality of CEM Systems security technologies and infrastructure. This award helps congratulate OAMC in their achievement of a standardized, best-in-class security platform across multiple Oman airports”.
